…we go to Rio!
Rio 2016 Olympic Games
The 31st Olympiad starts on the 5th August and MUAC will have a strong representation on the Australian team.
MUAC members Lisa Weightman, Regan Lamble and Joel Baden will compete at the Games with MUAC Coach Sandro Bisetto joining them as an Australian Team Coach. Weightman heads to her third Olympic Games as Australia’s premier marathon runner with strong prospects of a personal best. Regan Lamble, back in the sport after a post London Olympics break, finds herself ranked in the top 20 in the world. Joel Baden, after jumping 2.26m at the 2015 IAAF World Championships, makes his Olympic debut in Rio.
The MUAC influence extends to the top of the team with MUAC alumna Kitty Chiller leading the Australian team as Chef de Mission.
