Sunday triple treat for MUAC runners

Three of MUAC’s best runners were in the thick of it on Sunday, 24th March, and all walked away with significant results.

483166_10151317592665683_1132570244_nSophie Barker was second Australian home in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, running 27:13 over the tough 8km course for 81st place.  Snow was falling as the race started and snow and mud covered the 2km loop that included barriers, sharp turns and a testing hill.

 

 

 

 

10168_10151526079350935_1539950771_nLisa Weightman, in her first race since the since the Osaka Marathon in January,  crossed the line in first place yesterday to take out the Herald Sun/CityLink Run for the Kids 15km course in 50min 49sec.
