Strength in numbers as MUAC part of Zone Premiership
AV Zone Final
MUAC athletes lead the way as Yellow Zone claimed an emphatic victory in the AV Zone Final, winning with 3253 points, more than a thousand clear of second place. The Premiership strengthens Yellow Zone’s claim to be the strongest region in Victorian athletics. MUAC highlights were personal bests to Ellen Schaef and David McDonald in the 800m, a 2.00m clearance by Joel Mason in the High jump, Seamus Hayes clocking the fastest time of the day in the 200mand 3.55m for Kath Iannello in the pole vault.
In other action Amanda Paulin ran an impressive 9:29 at the Adelaide Track Classic in scorching heat.
