This will be a practical workshop that will explore a variety of tools for effective release of myofascial tension. This session will specifically focus on the lower limbs and will help athletes and coaches to discover:
– When to use stretches and how to get better targeting of specific ‘tight zones’
– How to release active trigger points through the use of foam rollers and spikey balls
– The benefits of kinesio-taping for reducing injury risk and improving athletic performance
Presenters will be Neil Michael and Chris Scales who are Exercise Physiologists based at Motion Health in Toorak.
