2014 World Junior Championships

Stella Radford has finished her World Championship campaign running 10:31.47 for 13th place in the final of the 3000m Steeplechase. On a 32 degree day at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon the pace was on from the start and it took a toll on Stella in the latter stages of the race, despite the raucous crowd and atmmosphere. “My legs in the last two laps were so heavy. The atmosphere was electric. It makes me keen to race again,” A lack of full recovery from her PB and Club Record in the heat two days earlier made the racing difficult but Radford pushed on in front of the loud and knowledge crowd at Tracktown USA. Radord will take a break after a long season and return for MUAC at the final round of the XCR14 season, the Tan Relays.

Associate MUAC member Joel Baden jumped well to finish 8th in the High Jump final, clearing 2.17m.
