The track and field season has kicked of with good news for MUAC as the club reached 150 registered athlete members. The tally surpasses last year’s high and closes in on the club’s goal of 160 athlete members.  MUAC is currently the 7th largest athletics club in Victoria and has one of the largest open age group cohorts, factors that contribute to the club’s ongoing success in Athletics Victoria’s XCR and AV Shield competitions. On reaching the milestone MUAC registrar Tim Thomas expressed confidence that the 160 athlete goal would be reached and noted with pleasure the diligence with which many returning athletes have renewed their memberships.
