Simon Greig confirmed that the strong start to his season was no fluke, winning the David Baxter Memorial Open Men’s 100 Yards and claiming the Victorian 100 Yards Championship in the process. Clocking 9.90 seconds over the imperial sprint distance, Greig was well clear of the field to take his first State Championship of the season.

MUAC’s Sarah McSweeney also competed, racing the 1500m, to finish 10th in 4:47.
