Festive treat for MUAC at Williamstown

11363991226_e7f19c6609_zThe final round of AV Shield before Christmas to MUAC back to Williamstown on Saturday, December 14.  40 MUAC athlete crossed the Maryibrnong to fly the MUAC flag and the team came home with an empahatic win in Mens Division 1 and fell just 5 points short of the win in Womens Division 1. Summer Manager Kath Iannello was the stand out of the day, competing in six events and marshalling the volunteers all day to ensure that MUAC did not lose any points. As the midpoint of the season approaches, MUAC’s Womens and Mens teams sit comfortably atop the Division 1 ladder.

  • Simon Greig, 1st 100m, 10.84, fresh off his win at the Victorian 100 Yards Championships
  • Kaitlin Morgan, 1st 100m, 13.95
  • Aaron Page, 1st 400m, 50.69 in a great battle with Christopher Arnold, 2nd in 50.89
  • Womens 4x100m relay, 1st in 55.56
  • Nick Earl, 1st 3000m Steeplechase, 10:28
  • Jarrod Pageot, 1st, Long Jump, 6.70m in his first jump back, off a short run up
  • Hannah Alderton, 1st Long Jump, 5.64m, a personal best
  • Jack Plunkett, 1st Pole Vault, 4.30m
  • Cath Macrae, 1st Pole Vault, 3.55m
  • Genevieve Lawrence, 1st Discus, 25.11m
