Melbourne University Athletics Club is delighted to announce that the Clyde Hotel will be the Official Supporter of Student Members at MUAC.  The partnership will deliver significant benefits to athletes with a reduction in MUAC membership fees for University students and discounts at the Clyde Hotel.

MUAC has a long association with the Clyde Hotel and it is hoped that the partnership will continue for many years, with formal and informal events throughout the summer and winter season to be held in the pleasant surrounds of the newly renovated hotel.  “The Clyde is a perfect social base for our members. Student athletes will also appreciate the support given by Tony and the staff at the Clyde” said MUAC President Hamish Beaumont.   Publican Tony Dullard noted that MUAC and the Clyde were a natural fit given that the pub is the closest to MUAC’s Rawlinson Track and many club members are patrons already. Melbourne University Athletics Club is a club with a tradition dating back to 1873.  It is a very active and vibrant club that encourages athletes of al abilities to strive for their best performances and have a lot of fun along the way.  Members have access to fantastic facilities and top level coaching.  We enter both mens and womens teams in Athletics Victoria’s summer (track and field) and winter (road and cross country) competitions.
