Beginner Running Squad
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Meet at the track.
The goal of the beginner squad is to improve running fitness while providing participants with the necessary skills to keep running enjoyable and reduce the risk of injury. The training sessions will include:
– – Running technique to run more efficiently.
– – Exercises to increase speed and to improve endurance.
– – Strength training to improve core strength and running posture.
– – Effective stretching.
The training is suitable for beginning runners yet challenging enough for runners with some experience.
