2021-22 MUAC Memberships Open
The Athletics Victoria portal to sign up for the 2021/22 athletics year and join MUAC as a member is now open, and the cross country/road (XCR) season is upon us! XCR 2021 After a hiatus in 2020, cross country and road racing is back! Team-spirited with phenomenal views of grassy plains, large hills, and mud. The Provisional XCR’21 Schedule is below. May Saturday 1st – XCR 1 – XC Relays – Jells Park Saturday 22nd – XCR 2 – 8km XC – Lardner Park June Saturday 5th – XCR 3 – Ekiden XC Relay – St Annes Saturday 26th – XCR 4 – 12km XC – Cruden Farm July Saturday 10th – XCR 5 – Road Relay – Sandown Saturday 17th – XCR 6 – 10km XC – Bundoora Saturday 31st – XCR 7 – 15km Road – Ballarat August Sunday 15th – XCR 8 – 10km Road – Albert Park September Sunday 5th – XCR 9 – Half Marathon Road – Burnley Half Marathon Saturday 18th – XCR 10 – ‘The Tan’ Relays JOINING MUAC Fee Structure 2021-22. MUAC club fee: $90 adult / $60 students and concession Athletics Victoria registration: $170 adult / $135 junior (U20) For the winter season, relay events, such as Jells Park, are free to compete. The other 6 races require individual entry or via the purchase of the XCR package. Pay as you go: $25-35 per individual event XCR package: $115 junior, $140 adult: entry into all 10 XCR rounds Note these prices are in addition to the AV membership and club membership listed above. These can be purchased online: https://www.muac.org.au/uniforms/ If you intend to race at Jells Park on the 1st of May, please ensure you buy your uniform online before the 27th of April. Uniforms will be able for pick up the Rawlinson on the evening of the 28th and 29th of April, or on the day at Jells Park. |

Season Launch To welcome in the season we would love to see all MUAC members (new and old) and anyone thinking about getting involved in athletics to come and join us at our local Parkville parkrun on Sat 24th April at 8am. Donning your MUAC paraphernalia, run, walk, race or half step your mate around the 5km course and then join us for a BBQ afterwards.
