The University’s Rawlinson Track will see some fierce competition for the 101st Victorian Mile Championships this February. Some of Australia’s leading middle distance athletes will be chasing a title won by Landy, Doubell, Elliot, Flack, Macmillan and Riseley. After a sub four minute mile in 2016, will the track record be broken again on an evening that will see high quality 800m and mile competition as athletes focus on the Australian Athletics Championships and World Championships Selection Trials only weeks later.
